Another little photo of the Manhattan skyline picture that belongs to the same serie.
About the motion effect. I m fascinated by long exposures these days, because they let you emphasize the difference between moving and static objects. Clouds were moving fast, whereas the skyline was fixed.
About the lighting This picture was snapped before the sky gets completely black (the sky never becomes very dark in Manhattan anyway !) , so that the clouds still have a little bit of pink tones from the sunlight, but most of the light comes from the building. This raises the question of white balance settings in the context of mixed sources of light, and I m not sure to have the answer to that !

very good experimentation, i like this golden look. if you are shooting in raw, you can play with wb settings and see which pleases your eyes for mixed source of lights. this is yet another my favorite Manhattan night scape.
